It has been a while. Sorry for the
delay in blogs, but it has been busy. We had my birthday which I have a funny story about, more on that in a minute. Then we had Maggie's first birthday yesterday. Next is Andy's big 30 birthday. Now that things are slowing down I feel like I am trying to get sick. I am going to fight it with all I have got. Please pray I don't get sick. Better yet pray my kids don't get sick. Emma is back in school and I don't want her to have to miss days. She has been sneezing and seems to be stuffy. That is a bad sign. Also if Mags gets
sick she will sleep even less than she already does. I don't think I can handle that. PLEASE pray we don't get sick. So my birthday. My friend Jeni got a babysitter for her daughter and my girls. Then Andy and I,
Huba and Jeni, and my parents all went to this great
restaurant The Red Door. We were hanging out, eating,
chatting, having fun without the kids. Then at one point
Huba tells us that everybody made fun of his pants at work. We all asked him what was wrong with his pants. He then stands up and shows us his pants. I wish I had a photo, they were
soooooo funny that I laughed the rest of the night and I laughed so hard I cried for about a half hour. First I have to tell you a little something about
Huba, he is the kind of person that doesn't really get
embarrassed, and he can't leave things alone. He always points things out and says something about everything. He is really funny, the kind of person you can't help but love. His pants were a chocolate brown color, but they looked like someone had bleach on their hands and
wiped their hands all over the pants. The best part was as we all laughed Jeni tells my Mom and I that he isn't gay, and
Huba goes on to defend the pants. Telling us they are really comfortable, they have a nice texture, and they were only $3.99. The more he talked to more I laughed. I know this story
doesn't even come close to doing the evening justices, but I had to share because I am still laughing about it.
